CCP secures Mendakota’s 19th hole

CCP secures Mendakota’s 19th hole

The Mendakota Country Club in Minnesota is steeped in history and has evolved into one of the finest private clubs in the Twin Cities area. Located where the Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers meet, the impressive club house features panoramic views over the golf course, which makes it the perfect setting for fine dining, wedding ceremonies and receptions, social events and business meetings.

For many devotees, golf is more than just a sport: it’s a social occasion. Increasingly, the trend is for golf clubs to offer sophisticated hospitality. In a 2017-2018 private club trends report, the CMAA noted that national surveys continue to show that club dining operations represent the most popular amenity offered by clubs.

Mendakota Country Club is open year-round, and dining operations are under the watchful eye of Executive Chef, Michael Harper. With food safety a key priority in food service, Mr Harper must ensure his operations run smoothly when he is not on-site. This led to CCP being engaged to provide 24/7 wireless automated temperature monitoring at Club premises, rather than continuing with traditional paper-based manual checking methods, which can be unreliable.

Mr Chicoine, CCP Network North America’s President, commented that:

“Automated continuous temperature monitoring of refrigeration is far more reliable than manual checks. In using CCP’s low-cost Internet of Things (IoT) technology, Mendakota has immediately reduced its business risk”.
