Shared Tables - driving innovation and trends in food industry

MELBOURNE, Australia, 7 February 2017 – CCP Technologies Limited (ASX: CT1), is pleased to announce its sponsorship of Shared Tables – taking a seat at the table during the year ahead with hospitality leaders and peers.

Shared Tables was formed in Melbourne, Victoria in 1994 as a place where chefs/restauranteurs could meet and exchange information and ideas in a relaxed environment over lunch.  The group has grown from 30 initial participants to 550 members including many sectors of the hospitality industry.

CCP Chief Executive Officer Michael White highlighted the sponsorship reflects alignment with Shared Tables’ mission.

“We accepted the sponsored invitation because Shared Tables is a dynamic industry forum which promotes innovation”, Mr White said.

CCP empowers businesses to make better decisions with a low-cost, sophisticated Internet of Things (IoT) monitoring solution. By using CCP, businesses in the food industry monitor temperature, humidity and other critical control points to save money, reduce disruption, enhance environmental efficacy and protect their reputation.

CCP will engage with Shared Tables members, offering practical ways to reduce the risk of refrigeration failure, reduce food waste, reduce total cost of asset ownership, reduce energy costs, improve food safety and automate record keeping.

According to Accenture, a leading global professional services company, by using new IoT technology, commercial kitchen performance can be significantly improved. Their recent ‘Cooking up Value’ report showcased the connected commercial kitchen. By gaining visibility into kitchen operations, hospitality professionals can make faster, more informed decisions.

“We look forward to joining the conversation of new innovative ideas and smarter ways to manage businesses”, Mr Mr White said.
